I design with purpose and lead with curiosity.Over the past decade, I’ve created thoughtful, user-first experiences for small businesses, enterprise clients, and startups across fintech, wellness, and e-commerce. I’ve worked on everything from building the first website for a local construction firm to improving products used by millions.
That journey started with a foundation in psychology and a deep interest in how people think, feel, and interact with technology. After earning a master’s in psychology, I began my career in UI/UX design and later transitioned into product management after continuing my education at UT Austin. It felt less like a pivot and more like a natural next step. I’ve always been the one asking why, connecting user feedback with business goals, and stepping in wherever I’m needed.
That has included leading quarterly roadmap planning, launching MVPs in under 90 days, improving retention by up to 35 percent, and running dozens of user interviews and discovery sessions to guide iteration. My background in research psychology gives me deep empathy for users, especially those who are underserved, and a strong intuition for product strategy and team dynamics. I care about building inclusive, intuitive products and collaborative environments. I’ve led cross-functional teams of up to 10, partnered closely with engineers, and collaborated with executives on go-to-market strategy.
Bonus facts: I’ve skydived at 13,000 feet, I’m a certified advanced scuba diver, and I paint in my spare time. But I promise I’m usually at my desk. Let’s build something meaningful together!
Clarity in design, power in function. If my users are amazed by how beautiful our app is, but get lost or overwhelmed by the design, as a designer, I've failed.
Consistent design create a familiar environment where users can navigate intuitively, focusing on their tasks rather than deciphering the interface.
As creatives, we may be tempted to focus on crafting visually striking designs, but we must remember that our work's true purpose is to guide users seamlessly through their journey.
Inclusive design opens doors for everyone. In my experience, when we design with inclusivity in mind, we improve the overall experience of all users!
Great design is born from feedback and refinement. Each iteration brings us closer to the ideal user experience as we listen, learn, and evolve our creations based on real-world insights.
Tailoring solutions to real-world scenarios ensures our designs thrive in the wild, not just in the prototype. By putting user circumstances at the heart of every design choice, we create interfaces that resonate with people's lives, making technology feel like a natural extension of their world.
